From My Heart to Yours!

Dear church family and friends,

One of the greatest joys of my life is being Pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church. My family and I have been so touched by your love and caring spirit before and during the big wedding event for Ethan and Taylor. It seems that the words “Thank You” are so inadequate. But that is the best words I can come up with as Taylor’s dad and your Pastor. As a Church, and as individuals, you have overwhelmed us with gifts, cards, and prayers. Thank you to all who were able to attend their wedding. Please continue to pray for them as they begin their new life together.

I also want to share an update on the upcoming outreach and ministry program that we are planning for Wednesday evenings, beginning in September. As you may know, we are discussing with Beltline Elementary School, across the street, the possibilities of offering an outreach ministry for children of single parent families. The ministry would focus on providing care for these children after school, an age appropriate bible study and a meal on Wednesday nights. This meal will be available to everyone. We also want to offer a small group bible study for the parents as they come to pick up their children. This will allow us to minister to the children and their parents and expand our area of outreach in a very real and tangible way. What an opportunity to show the love of Jesus. Please be in prayer for this ministry. More details to come.
